About-Us
The initial concept for TrainingforIndustry.com came from husband and wife team, Norman and Linda MacIver.

In collaboration with other experienced professionals, the passion grew, and Training for Industry became a reality.

Norman has 20 years experience in setting up, teaching and assessing training programs, for people working in many different jobs in the retail and distribution industries. For 15 years, he was a trainer and assessor with a number of Industry Training Organisations that were registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, an agency of the New Zealand Government.

Norman and Linda are experienced at running successful businesses and delivering what their customers want. It became apparent that there was a real need for online training, and so TrainingforIndustry.com was born.

Although this team have traveled widely, they have chosen to base themselves and the company in New Zealand, a country known for its high standards in doing business and in education; where people from all parts of the world flock to study. TrainingforIndustry.com emerged in this environment of integrity and excellence in education.

TrainingforIndustry.com makes it easy for people in the exciting and essential distribution industry all over the world to learn, by basing its training online. We work hard to make all our training material easy to understand, even if English is not your first language.

We aim to help people learn skills for their jobs and gain qualifications, so that they are competent and know they are making a contribution. The flow-on effects are that they really enjoy what they do, and the companies they work in are more productive.

We work with employers too, to make sure we are delivering the knowledge required to help their businesses grow.
